Roy Noonan

•Black belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu•IBJJF certified•Qualified and award winning EQF Lv 4 Personal trainer, Lv 3 Group fitness instructor, Lv 3 Gym instructor•Emergency first responder•IBJJF Referee•NQF Lv 6 in Leadership Management•17+ years military experience
Roy is a former international Jiujitsu Champion and a CMAP award winning coach. He is a former army marksman and artillery forward observer, a role that specializes in map reading and land navigation. He currently serves as an instructor within the Navy and is an active Navy Diver.
He began teaching fitness and self defence in 2014 and achieved his BJJ Black belt in 2021 making him the first ever BJJ Black Belt in the Irish Military, he has grown his club ever since. Producing many local, national and international champions in MMA and BJJ.
Roy also runs the Heroes Jiujitsu program in Ireland providing free classes to military and frontline emergency staff
He primarily teaches the Jiujitsu programs and fitness classes. He will be adding land navigation courses and first aid courses in 2025
Due to the rapid rise in popularity of jiujitsu and high standards required to reach black belt, many martial arts instructors have added ground fighting to their teachings, often to a very poor and dangerously ineffective standard, making instructor verification important. Damien Lane
•Judo Black Belt•Brazilian Jiujitsu Blue belt•Judo Ireland grading officer•Head Coach of Kano Samurai Judo Club
Damien joined Rally Point coaching team in early 2022 while also adding jiujitsu to his already impressive Judo credentials, he opened the Kano Samurai Judo team within the Carrigaline location and later expanded to the Mahon area. In just a short spell he has achieved packed classes and large medal counts at competitions, all a credit to his coaching. With many BJJ Carrigaline members now cross training with him the combat sports department’s takedown game and stand up skills have increased massively since his arrival to the team.
Damien primarily teaches the kids and adults judo classes as well as the national and international competition teams, as well as conditioning training for members

David Springall
•Judo Black belt•Competition team coach•Conditioning coach
Having previously instructed both our judo and BJJ coaches, David joined the coaching team and brought with him his extremely effective and high level of instruction to both judo and jiujitsu team members.
He specializes in teaching a very high standard of judo but also self defence and fitness for competition. Making him a very important member of the coaching team in both fitness and combat sports
He primarily teaches the Kano Samurai adults judo classes and competition team training and fitness classes in both Carrigaline and Mahon
